It’s a car! It’s a motorocycle! It’s- Well, okay, it’s technically a motorcycle, but the three-wheeled R3 includes enough amenities (like actual seats and an integrated Galaxy Tab) that you might be able to convince yourself to commute in one.
I guess the idea behind making a car with three wheels instead of four is to keep it smaller, cheaper, and more efficient. Or maybe the idea behind making a motorcycle with three wheels instead of two is to make it safer and more comfortable. Either way, the R3 from T3 Motion is up for pre-order for $500, which includes a Galaxy Tab that slips into a custom dashboard mount.
When you pick up your R3 (after paying the $25,000 – $30,000 balance, of course), you’ll get a fully electric vehicle with a top speed of 70 mph and a range of up to 100 miles. No word on when they’re going to start actually making these available.
